i am very interested in this set of work. your photo shop of a zebra/rino is so unique. to be honest at first i didnt even notice that something was out of the norm. i thought that was funny that i didnt get it until i read the title. i guess that just goes to so you that a title can be much more important than you would think.
Your metaphor project is also quite interesting. the wood pieces really draw me into them. i find i am trying to connect them with an image, but cant find any similarities to anything else. the incorporation of line with form is subtle, and your transitions from one form to the next was very smooth. i am having a hard time connecting to the form with the pencils. i feel like it is trying to relay a message dealing with school or something along that nature, but when you speak of it in the poster you talk about it being a gift.
