I like that you added red pencil to define the muscles. Maybe also redefining out outer edge and the axis lines of the figure for fuller effect. Nice work with the Male figure, female sketch seems a bit awkward.
thanks for the video commentary. i think this is a viable way to summarize your work, especially for people who are more comfortable talking than writing. one thing you could have done in the video is to have had your drawings in it--to be able to point out specifics on them in order that we could see them.
one strength of your drawings is that you are putting the muscles in your figures. many students struggle with doing that. in the last few weeks of the semester, we will focus more on how to do this with some more fluid mark-making and considered use of value.
I want to see you 1) use lighter lines for outlines, at least for one side of each form, and 2) use a line that is more fluid. this will mostly happen by making sure you are drawing from your shoulder not just your hand. this will be the same in your gesture drawings.
I'm a third year stout student this year, i'm majoring in Multimedia Design with a concentration in Digital Animation. I play guitar in a sweet pop/rock band www.myspace.com/motionwhereyougo check it out. I'm also just a fun guy that loves PIXAR animation, if I didn't play music that would be my DREAM Job.
